Our Story<\/strong>

I’m Karim El Masry. Masry Gems carries my name \u2013 and every stone that leaves the house has passed through my hands.

I learned this craft where the stones come from: in Europe, the Middle East and the old gemstone centres of Asia. Not in trading houses, but from people who have worked with these stones for generations. How to judge colour in daylight. How to spot a treatment. That eye can’t be bought \u2013 you only get it by holding thousands of stones.

It started with a gift. I was looking for a piece that exists only once. What I found carried the price of luxury but not the value. So I made it myself.

Today every stone we offer is hand-selected. We buy on site and cut in our own workshop \u2013 if a client wants a specific shape or play of light, we take the rough stone and cut it exactly to that.

Some of our stones have been worn before. We buy old rings, release the stones and give them a second life in a new design. We work with natural stones as well as lab-grown diamonds, and explain the difference honestly. Every piece is made individually: one stone, one design, one owner.

Our house was founded from a deeply personal pursuit: the search for a truly meaningful gift. The international market too often offered inflated margins and soulless mass production \u2014 and we refused to accept the gap between price and genuine quality. So we brought uncompromising craftsmanship, transparency, and raw authenticity back to the heart of high-end jewelry.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

What we work with<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Edelsteine<\/strong>
Sapphire, ruby, emerald, tourmaline, amethyst, citrine, aquamarine \u2013 and on request almost any stone you have in mind. Through our own sourcing network we can find rare stones specifically for your piece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Diamonds<\/strong>
Natural and lab-grown diamonds. Same chemical composition, same brilliance, different price. Lab-grown diamonds are always clearly labelled as such \u2013 you decide, we advise honestly.<\/p>\n\n

Cuts<\/strong>
We carry finished stones and cut in our own workshop: brilliant, oval, emerald, radiant, marquise, cushion, cabochon \u2013 or a shape that doesn’t exist yet.<\/p>\n\n
