Jewellery Designer (m/f/d)

To strengthen our team we are looking for a jewellery designer (m/f/d) who sees one-of-a-kind pieces through from idea to finished setting. You work directly with hand-selected gemstones, sapphires, emeralds, tourmalines and diamonds, and turn customer wishes for engagement rings, pendants and bespoke commissions into finished pieces in our own workshop.

Your tasks

Design and development of one-of-a-kind jewelry: engagement rings, rings, pendants and earrings in 14- and 18-karat gold as well as platinum
Advising on stone and cut selection, from brilliant to cabochon
Realising bespoke commissions and customer sketches up to the finished piece
Setting and finishing gemstones in our own workshop
Working closely with the founder on design, stone selection and production
Documenting the stones and materials used (origin, treatment, carat)

Your profile

Completed apprenticeship as a goldsmith or comparable experience in jewellery design
Confident handling of gemstones and precious metals; stone-setting experience is a plus
A trained eye for proportion, colour and the play of light
Joy in one-off pieces: you think in unique works, not in series
Care, precision and reliability in bench work
Very good German or English for customer advice
